This PPV was quite amazing.. as always, we will go through the different matches:
Curtis Axel def. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett and The Miz
- normally, Fandango was suppose to win the IC title that night but due to a concussion he wasn't able to compete that night, so WWE had the great idea to have Curtis Axel take the title on Fathers day to pay a little tribute to one of the greatest IC Champs in the History, his father Curt Hennig otherwise known as Mr.Perfect. Cool Triple Threat action and an interesting end to the match. One of the better ways to make a heel win in a Triple Threat.
AJ Lee def. Divas Champion Kaitlyn
- probably one of the best diva matches ever since the PG-Era kicked off. And finally, AJ Lee was able to capture the WWE Divas Championship which went down as the 2nd title change at that night.
United States Champion Dean Ambrose def. Kane via Count-out
- It's great to see Dean holding the title but this match was kinda lame, it had something but in the end, the only thing that mattered to us was Ambrose retaining the belt.
Alberto Del Rio def. Dolph Ziggler to win the World Heavyweight Championship
- wow... WWE got us once again with a huge shocker. Everybody (or most of them) thought that it would be way too early for Zigglz to lose his World Title, but just when you think you had all figured out, Del Rio comes in and is all like "Fuck you, I'm winning tonight" which lead to the 3rd and last title change of the night, to a heel turn for Del Rio and a face turn for Ziggler. The match was alright but Del Rio was all over Dolph's head (due to a concussion he had right after the won Championship gold) Even know the doctors wanted to stop the match, Zigglz refused to show off his new gimmick as face. We hope that he will win it back soon.
CM Punk def. Chris Jericho
- and the match of the night of course, CM Punk faced Chris Jericho in his official return to action after losing to Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Most of the people already saw his face turn comming... anyways the match was kinda slow pasted but it was still awesome to watch, in the end CM Punk went all crazy and hit 2 GTS in a row to pick up the win in his hometown of Chicago. Later that night we got to see CM Punk telling Heyman to stop calling him his "client". With that being said, Punk quit as Paul Heyman guy.
WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins def. Randy Orton & Daniel Bryan
- solid match. no orton heel turn. meh.
WWE Champion John Cena def. Ryback (Three Stages of Hell Match)
- it was a good 3 Stages of Hell Match, even know a Lumberjack-Match wasn't the best choice for the 1st Stage. 1st Stage was ok, the highlight was of course Cena's Superman Splash because he's a boss at burying new talent. 2nd and 3rd Stage were decent as well with John Cena ending this feud by Slamming Ryback through the Ambulance.
