A Florida middle school teacher has been suspended for allegedly twerking and receiving a lap dance from a student at a team party.
Courtney Spruill, known as Coach Perry, is a soccer coach who also teaches physical education and health at Kernan Middle School in the Duval County School District, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Spruill's suspension came after an internal investigation into the allegations that she twerked with students and instructed them how to twerk at the soccer team party at a player's home in May.
She was also seen drinking alcohol and receiving a lap dance from a player, which was captured on video.
The owner of the house said the teacher brought vodka as a gift but only drank soda during the alleged incident.
The Duval County School Board concluded there was evidence of 'gross exercise of poor judgement' and they voted on July 1 to suspend Coach Perry without pay for 15 days.
